Kennedy Half Dollars were minted in a silver clad version from 1965-1970 in Philadelphia (no mintmark), San Francisco (“S” mintmark), and Denver (“D”), are composed of .40% silver yielding .14792 troy ounces of pure silver per coin, and measure 30.6mm in diameter. Though not officially designated as bullion coins, these 40% silver coins are, in fact, valued and traded for their bullion content. Clad Kennedy Half Dollars are sold in assorted face value bags which offer the investor an affordable, convenient, and easily divisible means of owning silver with a built-in guarantee: no matter what eventually happens to the price of silver, 40% silver coins will always be worth at least their face value. For this reason alone, clad Kennedy Half Dollars are highly appropriate as a hedge against more volatile investments.

OverallGreat coins and at about as close to spot as you can get. All were in great condition. I will be getting more for sure.
- I love the Kennedy halves!Donaldon 12/4/14
Overall40% Kennedys are a great way to stack silver, they are a big bang for the buck. Mine arrived 3 days from placing the order. They are a bit dirty, but that doesn't matter to me, I won't clean them. I think it's part of the charm of constitutional silver coins (I don't call it junk). Remember folks, you can pay to much for your silver, or??? You can buy it from Provident Metals! Get some today!
- Great purchaseOzzyon 11/16/14
OverallWow! Some where BU and some were messed up. The silver is VERY close to spot and I was very happy with this purchase.
- Very Close to SpotJDon 6/18/14
OverallI bought these because of the premium, it is much lower than in most other products. The coins were dirty and definitely circulated but after a good cleaning these coins really started to shine. After that cleaning I realized that they were in good condition I will definitely be ordering a lot more.
- Can't go wrong for the priceJOHNon 12/26/13

- 1st order 1st smilekevinon 2/16/13
Overall1st order with these. Ordered Qty of 25 to try out quality and timing. 40% where vn condition , 25% nice condition, 25% good, 10% poor. I think that is very good ratios. Some peaple may not care about quality as much as a 90% coin but still vn is better then poor, so I will take them. Pricing was the best I could find on the web. Took a little over 2 weeks shipping for order date to @ the door. I mailed in check to save cc fees, so that added 3-4 days alone. Shipping was fare and like the confirmed delivery. Will order again for sure.
- I bought 4 sets of 2 coins which arrived dirty from circulation. After cleaning with baking soda they returned to their original luster and had almost no wear. I am very happy with my purchase as always with Provident and will continue to invest with ProvRoberton 11/27/12

- Best deal in the bizTravison 10/14/12
OverallThis is my fourth order and all of these coins are standard 40% silver half’s. I have read that most coin collectors can look back and agree that buying these coins straight up is much better than spending time searching for them which I agree with.
If buying with a check one must be patient but if buying with a card these things literally fly off the shelf. Kudos to Provident Metals for the best prices and best service I have seen since I started collecting in 2010. Please keep taking care of us and we will keep taking care of you.
- face value very highMarkon 5/29/12
OverallWhen they say (no matter what happens to the price of silver) note this.If you have 1663 ea, Kennedy 40% halves you will have 831.50 dollars face value and 245.94 troy oz. of silver. If you have 680 ea Franklin 90% halves you will have 340.00 dollars face value and 245.95 troy oz. of silver. You will pay about the same for either one.
- great condition coinsDanielon 5/14/12

- Best Deal Anywhere!Bob Mon 1/14/12
OverallI've ordered these a few times now, and I have not been disappointed yet. They range from nicely circulated to BU. I'm not kidding! I've received a couple of real GEMS. Overall though, this is the best deal anywhere I've found. I'm ordering more.
- Can't beat Provident's deal these.SilverBullon 8/8/11
OverallOnly way to get these any cheaper is to spend alot of time coin roll searching, been there done that for a long time and found nothing! Under spot silver, what's not to like? Coins I got were in good shape and did I mention under spot? Yes 40% silver coins are harder to melt and get lower premiums from a refiner compared to 90% and .999 fine silver, but if you just stack to protect wealth or "just incase", these are great!
- WOW!!Kevinon 3/15/11
OverallNice coins @ SPOT!!! Can't get that anywhere else! I'll be buying more....
