Silver bullion rounds offer the savvy investor a straightforward method of adding silver to their portfolio. They are available in a variety of appealing designs and are easily recognized and traded by rare coin and bullion dealers around the world.
These Silver Incuse Indian Rounds contain one troy ounce of pure .999 silver each, are hallmark stamped to that effect, and have a diameter of 39mm, making them roughly the same size as an American Silver Eagle. Their design is taken directly from one of the most famous coins in U.S. history: the Indian Head Half Eagle $5 Gold Piece.
While the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle of 1907 is widely thought to be the most beautiful coin in American numismatic history, the Indian Head Half Eagle $5 gold piece that debuted the following year may be the most daring. The quality that sets these coins apart from all others stylistically is their unprecedented incuse relief: unlike any other modern design, the images and inscriptions on the Indian Head Half Eagle are sunken into the surface of the coin. Bela-Lyon Pratt, a well-known American sculptor and artist, crafted a Native American in full headdress surrounded by thirteen stars for the coin’s obverse. An American eagle standing atop fasces and an olive branch - symbols of military preparedness and peace, respectively – appears on the reverse. This revolutionary design, long a favorite of collectors, has passed on into the Silver Incuse Indian Rounds.

Customer Reviews

  1. Wonderful Review by JIMMY | December 17, 2011

Love them, I have one of each size in a velvet sack, an I get them out several times a day just to play with them. Can't wait to buy more. Provident metals is the best.

  2. For survival purposes. Review by Knightbyter | November 19, 2011

After having to sell most of my precious metals to cover expenses from a nasty auto accident a few years back, I finally have money coming in and jumped right into buying silver again.
Since the Incuse Indian design was the only one not delayed I jumped for these. Ordered six to start plus a tube to keep them in.
Payed with a USPS Money Order and shipment arrived twelve days later. Would have been sooner if not for Veterans Day and two Sundays.
Plan to buy at least twenty of each type round Provident sells plus several 1/10th ounce gold over the next two years.

  3. Love this round Review by Danno | November 2, 2011

One of my all time favorite rounds... Can't get enough of them ... Very different from most other rounds on the market today...

  4. Very cool Round Review by Chris | October 11, 2011

If 1 oz .999's are your thing this coin would be a nice addition. This style round is now one of my top 3 fav's. Very low premium for a coin like this too imo. I'm planing to add a few more, i hope the inventory lasts. thanks provident!

  5. impressive round Review by David | October 11, 2011

My first cash order from PM took 18 days to receive, but well worth the wait for the price, beauty and quality of these rounds. Very happy, will order more from PM.

  6. Satisfaction Review by Denis K | September 17, 2011

My first order from Provident. I'm very pleased with the service, speed and manner of delivery. Oh, the coins are nice too. I'll be back.

  7. Different Review by Enrique | September 16, 2011

These coins are unique, you get the silver quantity and the history. They also have a nice polish and definitely feel like money in your hand. I'll definitely get more.

  8. Wonderful Round Review by Brian | July 16, 2011

This was my second order from Provident. I paid by check to delivery takes a little longer. Once the price is locked in when you purchase it will not change with the market even though my personal check may take a few days to arrive (on forums there seemed to be some confusion about this).

This round does not have a total matte finish like the pictures may show at first glance but not a high gloss finish either. I like the fact that this round has an eagle on the reverse. Never had an issue whatsoever with my second order, shipping is VERY reasonable compared to other online dealers, and will buy from again.

  9. LOVE THIS COIN! Review by Paul | April 26, 2011

I've always loved this $5 gold coin design. I don't know of any other coins that have this recessed image or that show the image without the classic-looking rim at the edge that every other coin has. It's a truly superb coin!

When I first saw this coin on the mint vendor site before Provident was even on line, it was just too expensive so I bought other products. Once I discovered Provident, this was one of the first products I bought. Once I received it, (Very Fast, BTW), I was struck by how authentic the design looked as compared to the original $5 gold piece. The burnished look is what it should look like! If it was shiny, it might look like those clad and plated copies you see on TV. I've since bought hundreds of these coins.

  10. A beautiful Silver Design Round... Review by TK | April 13, 2011

This 1oz Design Round and the other 1/2, 1/4, and 1/10 Oz Fractional Rounds in this series are my favorites by far.

They make great gifts or giveaways to spread awareness of what real money should be...the 1/10 oz fractionals are perfect for this.

    Thanks Provident!

  11. nice round Review by jason10451 | March 14, 2011

It doesn't have that shine I like but still a very nice round will order more

  12. Impressive Review by NEO | March 4, 2011

My first silver purchase and I'm not disappointed. Timely delivery, excellent quality. Packaged nicely and discreetly. Whoever I showed was thought they were really nice rounds. And the price with PM really couldn't be beat.

Will buy more as soon as I can !

  13. Really good looking Review by Pete | March 3, 2011

A little polish and the flat stamp finish takes on a very high gloss.

  14. Nice Looking Round Review by Core | January 18, 2011

    Very Nice Silver Round
It May Not Have The Proof Like Finish
But Its A Nice Looking Round

  15. Incuse Indian Design Review by Steve | January 18, 2011

I am not a coin collector but I do have many different coins. I buy for the silver, not so much for the picture stamped on the front and back. I do have a few that I think are pretty nice BUT out of all of my coins this is one of my favorite.

  16. beautiful! Review by boing | January 5, 2011

Very pretty coin! I'm new to the silver investing scene and this was one of my first rounds i've purchased. I can't stop picking them up and looking at them! Awesome buy, will definitely purchase more. Kudos!

  17. Excellent Design Review by Coin Star | January 1, 2011

I have purchased this type coin from other venders on Ebay. They have other writings on the back and some didn't have the coin edge. These are as nice and better than the other examples I have owned. I ended up selling all of the other Incuse Indian 1 oz rounds and replaced them with these. These give you a great bang for your buck and you will love them. Plus you will spend less than you will on Ebay on this design.

  18. Beautiful workmanship Review by Ron | December 30, 2010

I love the look of the Incuse Indian design. While this coin doesn't have that "fresh off the mint" mirror finish that you find in other products; the look and hue suit the design perfectly.

One touch and you'll be able to feel it... the solidity, the heft. This is real money! Not the worthless zinc-filled garbage that Washington D.C. has been peddling for decades.
