Silver bullion investors (along with commemorative collectors) can now purchase the much-anticipated Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park America the Beautiful Coins, each containing 5-Ounces of .999 Pure Silver. Conveniently available at Provident Metals, this 2012 ATB is dedicated to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, which boasts some of the most massive and active volcanoes on earth.
Created over the course of several millennia, Volcanoes National Park has allured and intrigued onlookers for as long as people have lived there, and today, more than 1.5 million tourists visit the park each year. Originally named Hawaii National Park, President Wilson set aside the 323,431 acres of land in 1916, making it the United States’ eleventh National Park, the first to be established in a territory (Hawaii was officially made a state in 1959).
Volcanoes National Park contains two active volcanoes: Kīlauea--one of the earth's most active volcanoes--and Mauna Loa, the world's largest. And because Kilauea has continually erupted since 1983, millions of cubic yards of lava have made their way to the ocean’s floor, literally adding landmass to the island. Based on the park’s exciting scientific and historical value, it was christened an International Biosphere Reserve in 1980 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site seven years later.
The 14th ATB Silver Bullion Coin issued by the US Mint (the fourth in 2012), Hawai’i Volcanoes is just one in a series that commemorates fifty-six national parks, forests and monuments--one from each state, the District of Columbia and five US territories. The coin’s impressive reverse was designed and sculpted by Charles L. Vickers, portraying an eruption on the eastern rift of the great Kilauea volcano. The obverse of each ATB features John Flanagan’s 1932 portrait of President George Washington.
Whether to diversify your holdings or to purchase a coin that honors one of Hawaii’s greatest natural treasures, Silver Bullion ATBs are a simple, affordable way to invest in your family’s future. Provident Metals’ secure online ordering system ensures the safety of your personal information, while your order arrives quickly at your door.
Coins purchased in multiples of 10 arrive in tubes issued by the US Mint.

- Provident just cannot be beat!Zazon 12/26/12
OverallI don't know how they *only* charge a $14.95 ($2.99/oz) premium over spot for these pucks when everyone else charges at least $25 over spot... They are by far the easiest way to stack silver, the designs are outstanding, and every time I get a box from Provident, it's like Christmas that day. Got my Hawaii 'quarter' today and the finish and proof-like detail is amazing. So is the newer style Z5 Air-Tite it came in, it's properly sized to fit the coin exactly. I'll definitely be buying my 2013 pucks from Provident for sure! Thanks again for your exceptional service!
- Coolest modern coin!Kodyon 11/9/12
OverallI'm 19, and pretty much bought this based on the volcano pic. When it arrived, it was 10 times cooler then the picture. I was showing it off to friends and family like crazy. They were also shocked when I told them it was legal tender and I could spend it for a quarter if need be haha. They looked dumb founded. Awesome coin! Want to collect all alongside their quarter counter parts

OverallMailed in money order and received product in a week. Very quick. Thanks Provident.
This is the biggest legal tender quarter and its crazy how much more it is worth because of its intrinsic value. Nothing like having USA's largest quarter in pure silver. Love the Hawaii volcano design.
