Investors can now purchase the 2013 Snake Privy Canadian Silver Maple, each containing 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. Eligible for your precious metals IRA, Snake Privy Silver Maples celebrate the Chinese Lunar Year of the Snake: 1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001 and 2013— and make fantastic gifts for loved ones born in those years.
The obverse of each Snake Privy Silver Maple features Susanna Blunt's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II— the fourth version of Her Majesty to appear on Canadian coins—along with its face value of $5 and the year 2013.
The reverse of each 1 oz Snake Privy Maple features Dora de Pedery-Hunt’s detailed five-point leaf, the unique snake privy to the left of its stem. It is inscribed with the words CANADA, 9999 FINE SILVER and 1 OZ ARGENT PUR. Each coin has a diameter of 38 mm and a thickness of 3.29 mm.
Backed and guaranteed by the government of Canada, Silver Maples were first unveiled in 1988, and they remain the purest government-issued silver bullion coins on earth to this day. Snake Privy Maples are minted in extremely limited quantities—making them incredibly popular among collectors and investors alike.
The Royal Canadian Mint (or Monnaie Royale Canadienne as it is known in French) is the Crown Corporation that produces all of the nation’s circulation coins. The only mint on earth to issue commemorative coins in a .9999 fineness, the mint provides gold and silver assay and refinery services, while running a highly-advanced technical refinery.
Purchase the 25th annual issue of the Silver Canadian Maple—and celebrate the Year of the Snake—today. Multiples of 25 arrive in original Royal Canadian Mint tubes. Take advantage of our secure online ordering system and your order will arrive in just days.

2013 Snake Privy Silver Maple
Review by Steve | May 6, 2013
I just received my order of them today. First of all one of the best looking coins out there very Proof like! Overall detail is amazing!
I had to buy since silver took a dip! I would have given 5 stars but shipping took forever, I placed my order on 04/18 and didn't get here until today 05/06.
Review by SilverMadness | May 4, 2013
I was hesitant to buy this at first because the regular maples have milk spots. Seeing how this was so nice, I couldn't pass up on these. Ordered 5 of them and all arrived quick. The design are way better compared to regular maples.

FROSTED AND SPECTACULAR Can't wait fot the future ones

Wow! I am very impressed with this Maple Leaf and Provident. For an item that was suppose to be delayed, it only took ten days to arrive from the time of ordering. I don't consider that much of a delay and was very pleased with all my purchases. The 2013 Snake Privy Canadian Maple Leaf is a beautiful coin that stands out among others, as does Provident Metals.
A Work Of Art
Review by Paul | April 24, 2013
You pay more for these Proof Like "works of art" but they are worth it. Highly polished with matte finish contrast in perfect condition. Provident has always shipped my Canadian silver coins in plastic flip holders - very classy. Once again Provident is the BEST.

This one is stunning! I have always loved the Maples, but now the rest pale in comparison with this one sitting next to them. A long wait for it, but it was worth it.

Great looking coin. I ordered this, a regular Maple and some rounds. This was the gem. Nice frosted finish with highly polished accents. Nice solid round. But on the pricey side as is all Canadian coins....for whatever reason.

I have been ordering from Provident for maybe six months now, always happy with my orders. These Maple Leaf coins are astounding! Works of Art, I order a couple 2 or 3 of these each month. Birthday and Christmas presents covered this year. Thank you Provident.

Great addition to my collection. The privy is in excellent condition. Great service by one of the best in the industry, Provident. Thanks!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL MAPLE ! By far the favorite coin in my collection. I think the ML and the ASE are very close in beauty, with perhaps a slight edge in art to the ASE, tho I prefer the dimensions and purity of the ML, but this coin , at least to me, is a very special one indeed.WOW factor is just incredible, First rate job, Royal Canadian Mint !

The Snake Privy is much more detailed than the regular Canadian Silver Maple. I'm not sure why, but it is. A wonderful addition to my stash.

Wonderfull coin, look much better than the regular Maple Leaf
thank provident, the coin was very clean uncirculated.
Review by Jeremy | February 25, 2013
This coin is probably one of my favorites. I have alot of coins from different mints throughout the world.....this one is top notch! If you collect Maples, you've got to add this one as well!
the best round
Review by Jim | February 7, 2013
As usual it arrived promptly and well packed, and the round is amazing. This is my favorite so far,
Review by Eric | February 5, 2013
When you see these coins, you will understand why these are different. It's not just the privy snake symbol, but the whole coin is several levels above your average Maple. The shine, matte finish, and detail sets it apart.
It is not a matter of IF these will go up in price, they WILL go up in price...invest in these before they're gone!
