Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, the 2014 1 oz Cougar Pouncing in the Snow Silver Coin is one of five coins released by the RCM celebrating one of Canada’s most elusive and powerful predators. Composed 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, each coin has a diameter of 38mm. The Cougar: Pouncing in the Snow features selective gold plating to enhance the beauty of this coin.
Designed by Canadian artist Maurade Bayton, the reverse captures the cougar as it leaps across the frozen tundra. CANADA, 20 DOLLARS and 2014 are additionally inscribed.
Similar to other RCM products, the obverse features a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the current reigning monarch of Canada. ELIZABETH II and D.G. REGINA, meaning ‘By the Grace of God, Queen’, are also featured.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
