Composed of troy ounce of.9999 fine silver, this proof coin is an excellent way to add precious metal to your portfolio — while admiring one of the world’s most intriguing creatures. The Silver Moose is released with a highly limited mintage of 40,000 coins.
Designed by Claudio D’Angelo, the reverse of each coin features the left-facing profile of a moose walking through a stream, with rocks and a forest in the background. A miniature moosehead is situated to the left, and it is inscribed with the words CANADA, 2014 and 10 DOLLARS.
The obverse of each coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II and D.G. REGINA.
The 2014 Silver Moose has a diameter of 34mm and a weight of 15.87 grams. It comes housed in a maroon clamshell with a custom beauty box.
