The 2015 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coin’s security features include a micro-engraved privy mark and micro-engraved radial lines. Each oz Gold Maple is composed of .9999 fine gold, and carries a legal tender value of 20 dollars.
The reverse of the 2015 oz Gold Maple Leaf features a micro-engraved maple leaf viewable through magnification. This technology guarantees the coin’s authenticity and quality. The reverse also features the Maple Leaf and the inscriptions “CANADA,” “FINE GOLD OR PUR” and “9999”.
The familiar portrait of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse. Her name, the coin’s date, and denomination are inscribed. The obverse also features micro-engraved radial lines that make the coin appear as though it glows.
