Containing 90% silver content, these Proof Quarters arrive in rolls of 40 brilliant uncirculated coins. The quarters will be packaged in paper rolls or plastic tubing.
Common to quarters used today, the obverse design features a profile portrait of George Washington, originally designed by sculptor John Flanagan in 1932. The design was slightly modified in 1998 but remains virtually the same as its original counterpart. LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the date of mintage are inscribed.
The reverse, also originally designed by Flanagan, shows an eagle with its wings spread. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and QUARTER DOLLAR are engraved.
The Washington Quarter was first minted in 1932 in commemoration of the bicentennial celebration of George Washington’s birth. The United States Congress voted to have the quarter replace the existing Standing Liberty Quarter, requiring that a depiction of President Washington be featured on the obverse.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
