Heavy little bar

I ordered the Chunky and another bar as a birthday gift for my husband. I had never purchased bar-form silver, and I was excited to receive them. My husband loved both bars he received. This bar was heavily circulated and slightly tarnished (not black just needed polishing), but my husband loved them none the less. It was a great present and he could not stop examining the bars. The Chunky style bar is more compact and thicker than normal 1 oz bars. It feels heavy in hand and leaves no doubt that it a pure silver bar. This bar is for someone who is trying to hedge themselves against inflation and just trying to get silver in their hands. I don't see this as "gift" material, and I would only put these in my private collection.
While the silver was a little tarnished, Provident Metals was sterling. I got my order quickly, without any hassle and in time for my husband's birthday. When I was trying to decide where to buy from I visited several coin collector sites, and I was shocked to hear how many people had to wait 15-20 days to receive their gold or silver from other merchants. With only 8 days before his birthday, I took a chance and ordered from Provident Metals, because of favorable word of mouth reviews. I could not have been happier. I had the bars in about 4 days. Since that time I have ordered many more times and each time I receive my order promptly. Other than this Chunky bar, everything I have received from Provident Metals has been excellent quality and exceeded my expectations. I can truly recommend Provident Metals. -
Great product for the price

I purchased 5 of these little bars and I couldn't be happier. You can't go wrong from A-Mark either. When holding them you wouldn't think you're only holding 1 ounce. I recommend picking a few up. Nice pieces to add to your silver bullion collection. I plan to order a few more in the future.
Shipping Information
Orders are shipped only after receipt of good funds. Orders paid by bank wire, credit card or postal money orders usually ship within 3-5 business days. Orders paid by personal check, cashier’s check or bank money order are held until funds fully clear (at least 6 business days and as many as 10 business days) before processing.
A majority of orders are shipped via USPS. FedEx, UPS and Brinks are also used on occasion at our discretion. If you would like to use a specific shipping service, please contact Customer Service at (877) 429-8790 for a custom shipping quote.
All orders are shipped fully insured.
Multiple orders cannot be combined to save on shipping or for any other purpose.
All packages over $50 require a signature to be received.
All packages shipped via USPS will be shipped First Class, Priority or Express Mail.
All orders totaling $5,000 or more will be shipped USPS Priority Registered Mail.
You will be notified by email when your package(s) ships. To protect our customers and Provident Metals from possible fraudulent activity, we do not provide tracking numbers on orders placed with credit cards.
All packages are shipped securely in inconspicuous packaging and give no indication of contents. Boxes may or may not be addressed from “Provident”.
Some oversized packages may be shipped Federal Express or UPS.
We offer flat rate shipping based upon each order’s subtotal.

International Shipping - We are currently shipping to Canada, but these orders cannot be placed online. All Canadian customers must call during our regular business hours to place their orders. Acceptable payment methods are limited to wire transfers, bank drafts, cashiers checks, and money orders for international orders. At this time we may ship to other countries on a case-by-case basis depending on USPS/UPS/FedEx shipping policies. Additional costs may be incurred.
