The U.S. Mint's 2013 America the Beautiful Silver Coin Series is a convenient and attractive way to add silver to your portfolio. These coins not only depict historic landmarks from across the United States, but are perfect for investing, collecting or gifting to a history enthusiast. All coins in the series contain 5 troy ounces of .999 fine silver bullion.

Celebrating the White Mountain National Forest in northeastern New Hampshire and southern Maine, the 5 oz silver coin displays an image of Mount Chocorua, sitting at an approximate elevation of 3,500 feet on the reverse. The White Mountain coin is the first of five coins to be released in the 2013 ATB series.

Dedicated to Oliver Hazard Perry and the Battle of Lake Erie, the Perry's Victory and Peace Memorial coin is the second release from the 2013 America the Beautiful Silver Series. Honoring Perry's astonishing naval victory in one of the most significant battles fought during the War of 1812, the coin's reverse image depicts Perry standing before the Victory and Peace Memorial in Ohio. Constructed from 1912-1915, the monument was officially declared a memorial in 1972.

The third coin in the 2013 America the Beautiful Series commemorates the Great Basin National Park. Located in eastern Nevada, near the Utah border, the park is known for its dry and mountainous landscape. The coin's reverse image depicts the Bristlecone Pine, a notable organism that is prominently featured throughout the park.
