The reverse of each V Nickel features its namesake, the Roman Numeral V, which signifies the coin’s face value of five cents. The V is encircled by a wreath of laurel, along with the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
Used heavily for commerce from 1883-1912, there are few uncirculated Liberty Nickels in existence today, yet the coin’s bullion content remains. So invest in copper today.
