Franklin Half Dollars | 90% Silver Coins
Provident Metals has the most comprehensive selection of 90% Silver Franklin Half Dollars on the web.
The Franklin Half Dollar is made of 90% pure silver and was first minted in Philadelphia and Denver in 1948. The design on the obverse, or front side, depicts one of our most famous of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin. The reverse of the coin was also designed with the founding fathers in mind as it depicts the Liberty Bell in which resides in Philadelphia. In contrast to other junk 90% silver half dollars, there are no mintage years or mint locations that have an unusually low number of coins produced therefore there are no extremely rare coins in the Franklin Silver Half Dollar series.-
