Having no specific design, the obverse side of the bar contains only engraved lettering. “Credit Suisse,” “One Ounce,” “Fine Silver,” “999.0,” and “CHI Essayeur Fondeur,” are all etched on the bar’s obverse. The phrase “Essayeur Fondeur” literally translates to “Assayer Founder”. The importance of this phrase is that it declares the official stamp of the refinery that manufactured the bar. In this case, the CHI stamp indicates that Valcambi Refinery, located in Balerna, Switzerland, is the official manufacturer of the bar. In addition, the serial number engraved at the bottom of the bar and the serial number on the assay card are a direct match. The reverse side displays the Credit Suisse logo in a diagonal pattern.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
