Customized Variety: The Grab and Go Food Kits can be customized with your choice of entrees and breakfast options. One Grab and Go Kit stored in a handy carry-and-go-bucket, for example, might contain 2 servings per day for 1 adult for 1 month or 4 adults for 1 week. You can begin as small or large as your budget permits, and then grow your family’s food storage and other emergency preparedness with time with a Grab and Go Kit for each member of your family. In addition, a one-month supply of food contained in one bucket is lightweight enough for a child to carry, if necessary. The meals are also tasty enough to be eaten as a regular part of your family’s meal preparations.
Secure Storage Process: As with our Long Term Food Supply storage system, the storage process for the Grab and Go Kits is also designed for endurance--with the addition of portability and food variety in mind. The meals are nitrogen-packed in airtight, Mylar pouches and then double encased in lightweight but durable and transportable buckets. Through extensive research, Wise Company has developed a unique and innovative approach combining both dehydrated and freeze dried products to ensure shelf-life, nutritional value, and taste. The oxygen is removed through a vacuum process and nitrogen flushing procedure, giving the meals a 25-year shelf life--with no rotation required. Because each Grab and Go Kit contains a variety of entrees or breakfast items customized to your family’s tastes, your family would actually enjoy a variety of food during a long-term emergency.

Transportability: Instead of using huge and cumbersome storage containers—which after opened force you to consume huge amounts of that item rapidly to prevent spoilage—we package meals in their own pouch. This eliminates waste. Basically, our unique Mylar 4-serving foil pouch is a small, flexible tin can that allows you to eat as much of what you want to eat when you want to eat it. Then, just as with our Long Term Food Supply system, the Grab and Go Kits are stored in space saving, stack-able buckets. For a family of six with two adults and four children, you could stack six Grab and Go Kits, one for each family member, in one small corner. You would be ready to flee, if necessary, with a month’s worth of food at a moment’s notice. Now that’s peace of mind.
Ease of Preparation: Hours of soaking beans or grinding wheat might be impossible in some types of emergencies. Our Grab and Go Kits contain the same delicious meals as our Long Term Food Supply line, and therefore, preparation is just as easy. Simply add hot water for savory, nutritious, and completely self-contained meals finished in only 12 minutes. Meals can also be re-hydrated using cold water, if necessary.
