Designed by Natasha Muhl, the reverse features the duck-billed, a quirky mammal that is indigenous to Australia. The platypus is one of the most unique animals in the world. Despite some bird-like qualities, including laying eggs, the platypus is considered a mammal since mothers nurse their young. On this coin, you’ll see the platypus surrounded by underwater vegetation from the rivers and lakes of Australia.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
