One of the most replicated designs in the history of American currency is the image known as Saint-Gaudens Liberty. The design was created for the US Mint in 1907 and featured on the $20 Double Eagle Gold Coin until 1933. It has since been replicated on a variety of gold, silver, and copper pieces, including the new Aurum Liberty Notes. Provident Metals currently has 1/10 Gram Gold 2020 Aurum Liberty Notes available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase a 1/10 Gram Gold 2020 Aurum Liberty Note in this Provident Metals listing, you receive your gold notes in brand-new condition. Design
1/10 Gram Gold 2020 Aurum Liberty Notes are available with the image of lady Liberty created in 1907 on the obverse. This image shows Liberty walking in front-facing relief with a torch held high overhead in her right hand and her left hand clutching a large olive branch. Rays of sunshine emanate from behind her figure with a sliver of the sun visible behind her and the US Capitol Building depicted at the base of the gold notes design field. Above the image is an inscription of Liberty, with 100 Milligrams in the two upper corners and 24 K Gold in the lower two corners. A unique date mark for this issue is in a half-moon field below Liberty as 2020.
History
Augustus Saint-Gaudens created this Liberty image in 1907 and submitted it to the US Mint in August of that year along with three other Liberty designs. His vision of Liberty appeared on the $20 Double Eagle Gold Coin from 1907 to 1933, currently features on the obverse of American Eagle Gold bullion coins, and has been replicated on countless gold bars, silver bars, silver rounds, and copper rounds.
All of the Gold Aurum Liberty Notes have a thin layer of gold layered in between sheets of polyester. The designs are produced with photo-realistic, full-color imagery in certain elements of the design.
