Each of the collections is unique in its own right for the use of new designs on one face of the medal with each new date mark. The Zi:Sin is a limited series when compared to the others as it will run through 12 design released one per date mark. Obverse

For the obverse design element, the 1/2 oz Silver 2019 South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Medal depicts the shield Chiwoo Cheonwang carried into battle. Though the famous God of War himself is not depicted, the hideous figure of Do ggae bi is shown on the obverse side of the medals. Do ggae bis grotesque appearance is so off-putting that it is believed it had the power to scare off evil spirits. This face of the medal boasts the inscriptions of 2019 Fine Silver 999, Republic of Korea, 1/2 Clay, and KOMSCO. The latent security feature of KOMSCO is also depicted on this face.

Reverse

In the reverse design of the 1/2 oz Silver 2019 South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Medal, the guardian known as Scrofa is depicted with her sword drawn, but resting at her side, as she stands on the Salt Lake. This spot is rumored to be the connection point in this world between the mortal human world and the immortal realm. It is here that she is tasked with guarding the world against evil and, if necessary, leading the forces of God into battle against darkness.

History

The Zi:Sin Series features 12-planned designs in all, one for each of the 12 Guardians. Scrofa is the third to feature. Like the other guardians, she has special powers that assist the mortal world in defeating evil. She can see danger coming over great distances and can replicate her figure in the course of battle to confuse her enemies.
