The SS Tilawa, known by some as the “Indian Titanic,” was a British passenger ship traveling from Bombay, India, to Durban, South Africa, when it was tragically sunk by Japanese torpedoes during World War II. In addition to passengers, the ship was carrying 60 tons of silver bars, which were lost beneath the Indian Ocean. In 2017, a secret recovery mission retrieved much of this silver. History

The SS Tilawa Shipwreck Silver Series offers a rare opportunity to own silver recovered from a historic shipwreck.
