Produced by the United States Mint, the Barber Dime was minted from 1892 to 1916, until it was replaced by the Mercury Dime the following year. Each coin is an average circulated (AC) example of the series.

Designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, the reverse features a laurel wreath encircling the words ONE DIME.

The obverse, also designed by Barber, features a profile portrait of Liberty. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date of mintage are also engraved.
