Obverse

Schloss Guldengossa is a Baroque-style castle built in 1720 and features on a wide range of Geiger Edelmetalle products, including these 1 Gram Gold Square Bars. The castle famous hosted the likes of Johann Sebastian Bach and was the first registered facility of Geiger Edelmetalle. Today, it is the official corporate headquarters of the company. Inscriptions include Geiger Edelmetalle above the castle design and 1 G Feingold 999,9 below the castle image.

Reverse

Geiger Edelmetalle uses the LEV rhombus in the design element of many of its products, including these 1 Gram Gold Square Bars. The LEV rhombus repeats across the entire reverse. With a black light, you will also find that these gold bars have a blue UV-coating on the reverse that exposes a larger LEV rhombus in the center of the design field and the unique serial number of the bar.

History

Geiger Original square bullion bars are available in both silver and gold bullion, with the gold bullion bars ranging in weight from these 1 Gram bars at the low end to the 1 Kilogram bar at the high end. The square bullion range features five security features in the design of each. In addition to the UV-coating on the reverse, you will notice a textured high-relief design on the reverse, pearl finish to the obverse, and ribbed edges around the outside of the bars.
