The image of Lady Liberty used on the Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most well-known designs in American coinage. These 1 Kilo Silver Morgan Bars are newly made by Sunshine Minting and showcase a detailed image of Lady Liberty from the original 1878 Morgan Silver Dollar. Each bar comes securely sealed in protective plastic and is proudly produced in the United States.
Designs
The obverse side of the Silver Morgan Bar features a circular image of Liberty in left-profile, just as it appeared on the Morgan Silver Dollar. Her features became symbolic of American strength and ideals. The obverse also includes the bars identifying marks. The reverse of 1 Kilo Silver Morgan Bars is covered with a repeating star pattern. Inscriptions on the obverse include E PLURIBUS UNUM, .999+, FINE SILVER, 1 KILO, and MADE IN USA.
History
George T. Morgan, who later became the seventh Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, designed the original Liberty portrait in 1876. He was inspired by Anna Willess Williams, a Philadelphia schoolteacher who posed for the image. Morgan wanted a design that reflected an American view of Liberty, departing from the earlier classical versions.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
