Although the name of the series this bar comes from is the Original Square Bar Series, these silver bars from Geiger Edelmetalle are anything but old in nature. The mint introduced a total of seven distinctive security features in the design of all the gold and silver bars in its new Original Square Bar Series. These features include a pearl finish to the obverse side of each bar and a textured, high-relief visual appeal on the reverse. Each bar has reeded edges like a bullion coin, a UV coating on the reverse that reveals a security image under blacklight, and a unique serial number.

Obverse

Geiger Square 1 Kilo Silver Bars feature the iconic image of the Schloss Guldengossa castle on the obverse face. This castle has long been used on silver bars from the mint as its primary design image. The reason for this is that the castle has been the corporate headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle for decades and was its first registered corporate location.

Reverse

For the reverse design field, Square 1 Kilo Silver Bars employ a simple design element. There are numerous LEV rhombus images that repeat across this side of the bar. Near the bottom, you will find a rectangular section that features the unique serial number assigned to this bar by Geiger Edelmetalle.

History
