Obverse

History
Cardano took two years for development and was launched by Charles Hoskinson, a co-founder of Ethereum. The unit of currency traded on the Cardano platform is known as Ada. The currency is named for Ada Lovelace, an English mathematician and writer. The Ada units on Cardano actually have a sub-unit known as a Lovelace, which has a correlation of 1 Ada to 1,000,000 Lovelaces.
