If you look closely at his belt, youll notice he has kept the skulls of some of his vanquished enemies, along with several kegs of ale to quench his thirst.

The World Tree is found in the reverse design of all 1 oz Copper Nordic Creatures Rounds. This design shows the beauty of The World Tree as a snake slithers near its trunk as a large buck stands near the tree as well. The World Tree is prominent in Norse mythology, with branches that reach high into the heavens and a three-pronged root system that covers the major realms of the world.

History

The Frost Giant, and other giants, are said to live in the realm of Jotenheim, one of the three realms of the world covered by the roots of The World Tree. Frost Giants were rumored to constantly oppose the gods and cause havoc on a whim.
