Norse mythology is based on oral traditions and tales from early Germanic folklore and Germanic mythology, with tales of deities, mystical beings, and heroes. Obverse
A dragon known as Nidhogger features on the obverse side of 1 oz Copper Nordic Creatures Nidhogger Rounds. This beast dwells in Niflheim, the grimmest place in the world. Set beneath Hel, this is where murders and oath breakers are sent as punishment in death. Nidhogger feasts on the corpses of the wicked.
Reverse
The beautiful World Tree is found in the reverse design of Copper Nordic Creatures Nidhogger Rounds. Known as Yggdrasil, the World Tree connects the nine worlds in Norse mythology. This immense ash tree has branches that can reach the heavens, while its roots grow out beneath it in three different directions. Mankind is protected by one of those three branches of roots, while another offshoot keeps Nidhogger at bay. It is believed the set of roots that reach him keep Hel and Nifelheim under control.

1 oz Copper Nordic Creatures Nidhogger Rounds are available in this listing in brand-new condition. Individual rounds ship inside of plastic flips. Multiples of 20 come with protective tubes. Boxes are available for multiples of 500 that hold a total of 25 individual 20-round tubes.
