Obverse
On the obverse side of Gold 2022 South Korean Zi:Sin Tigris Medals, you will find a depiction of Do ggae bi. This design was updated in 2020 using a different, historical image of Do ggae bi from Korean mythology. The figure has a more aggressive appearance with prominent brows, large horns, and the tusks of a boar. Though it appears more aggressive, it is also seemingly smiling. Inscriptions include 2022 FINE GOLD 999, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1 CLAY, and KOMSCO.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 1 oz Gold South Korean Zi:Sin Tigris Medals comes with an image of the guardian known as Tigris. Aligned with the Year of the Tiger, Tigris wears a hooded cape that his tiger stripes on the head. He also has tiger stripes in the tattoos on his arms. The field includes a lush jungle setting in the background. Inscriptions on this side include only ZI:SIN and TIGRIS.
