Obverse

The obverse of each 1/10 oz Gold Bar features a monarch portrait. Bars issued with an image of Queen Elizabeth II display a design by Susanna Blunt, which has appeared on Canadian coinage since 2003. Bars produced from 2024 onward feature the first official portrait of King Charles III, created by artist Steven Rosati, depicting him in left-profile relief. Inscriptions on this side will read either CANADA, CHARLES III, and D.G. REX or CANADA, ELIZABETH II, and D.G. REGINA. The date mark of each bar will feature on this side.

Reverse

On the reverse, the Gold Royal Canadian Mint Legal Tender Bar showcases a stylized globe design. This side of the bar includes an image of all seven continents along with inscriptions that note the bars face value, gold purity, weight in both Troy ounces and grams, and metal content. The inscriptions on this side read 25 DOLLARS, 9999, 1/10 OZ, 3.11 G, FINE GOLD, and OR PUR.
