Obverse

A rooster is depicted on the obverse side of the 1 oz Gold Lunar Rooster Bar. The rooster is shown standing at the edge of a rocky cliff. The rooster is shown in left-profile relief with its head turned back looking over its body toward the field behind it. The bird has powerful plumage atop its head with long, delicate tail feathers swooping down the back of the design. The only inscription is that of the Mandarin Chinese symbol for a rooster.

Reverse

The same rooster is found on the reverse face of 1 oz Gold Lunar Rooster Bars. This time, you can see the rooster in right-profile relief at the edge of that same rocky cliff. The rooster is still turning back to look behind its figure and has the same beautiful plumage, both on its head and in its tail feathers. This side of the bar has more inscriptions. PAMP Suisse is inscribed at the top of the bar, with 1 oz Gold 999.9 on the body of the bird. At the bottom of the bar, you will find a space with the serial number and an assayers mark at the very bottom.
