The T.I.M.E. Series is made up of five designs that feature all the timekeeping methods of human history. The fifth design release of the collection is the TIME EMIT. The phrase TIME EMIT is a palindrome, meaning it reads the same backward as it does forward. Similar to its name, this round design mirrors similar images on both sides of the round with small, distinct difference.

Additionally, the 1 oz Silver T.I.M.E. – E.M.I.T. Round exhibits proof-like finishes, which means that it features similar visual characteristics found on proof coins. These qualities include frosted finishes and mirrored background fields.

Obverse

On the obverse of the 1 oz Silver T.I.M.E. – E.M.I.T. Round, you will find a clock face numbered with Roman numerals. T.I.M.E. is inscribed along the upper border while The Increment Measuring Existence lines the bottom border. A sun and moon are included in the background design along with a factory and gears. Other engravings on this side include Chautauqua Silver Works and the rounds weight, purity, and metal content.

Reverse

The reverse depicts a similar image with a clock face marked with the standard numbering used in the English language. E.M.I.T. and Existence Measured in Theory are engraved along the upper and lower border. The face features the planet Earth alongside a spacecraft. Both of these figures are in the upper and lower portions of the round, depicted in two distinctly different ways.

History

The T.I.M.E. Series is released by Chautauqua Silver Works. The mint was founded in Western New York by Ron Kinney, who was a retiree with a love for silver. The refinerys slogan is One More Ounce, One Less Fetter and can be found on the obverse of this round. To produce each round in the series, Chautauqua partners with North American Mint, a 29-year-old private facility dedicated to quality assurance.
