The Chiwoo Cheonwang series launched KOMSCO onto the international stage in 2016. The designs in that series show Cheonwang in various battle scenes. On one side of each of those medals is the image of Cheonwangs shield, which bears the image of Do ggae bi. The same image is also featured on the reverse side of the medals in this series.

The Zi:Sin Series features a total of 12 different designs. Each of these designs was created to represent a different member of the Twelve Guardians of Korean lore. These guardians lead gods armies into battle against evil. They also have mythical powers that help them defeat their enemies.

The medals in this listing have received a perfect MS70 grade from the NGC, meaning they have their full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws. They are also Early Release specimens, meaning they were received by the NGC within 30 days of their initial release.

Obverse

On the obverse of each of these medals, you will see the image of Gallus in battle. Known as the messenger of light, he is capable of summoning a light so bright it is said that the armies of evil will quickly disappear. He is also said to possess a terrifying roar.

Reverse

The reverse image on each of these medals is that of Do ggae bi, a fearsome creature that is said to frighten away evil spirits. He is compared to hobgoblins found in western cultures.
