As her cape is swept back in fierce wind, she stands confidently with a wreath crown on her head and her left arm extended. A double-headed eagle is shown swooping down to land on her forearm. The inscriptions on this face include Germania, 2020, and 1 oz 999.9 Fine Silver.

Reverse

The seal of the Germania Mint is depicted on the reverse face of Silver 2020 Germania Camouflage Rounds. This design captures a heraldic vision of the double-headed eagle. Empires throughout history have used the double-headed eagle in heraldic seals as a representation of respect for the past and hope for the future. The inscriptions on this side read 5 Mark and Germania.

History

This version of the 2020 Germania Round is known as the Sylt camouflage. The blue-and-grey camouflage colorization added to both fields is reminiscent of the color schemes that modern naval forces use in combat uniforms. It is also a nod to the island of Sylt, a German island in the North Sea.
