That was, however, until the release of these 1 oz Proof Silver 2020 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals. For the first time, Do ggae bis visual appearance has been altered in this series.

Obverse

The new Do ggae bi design is visible on the shield of Chiwoo in the obverse design of the 1 oz Proof Silver 2020 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals. This new design is a subtle twist on the original design used from 2016 to 2019 and captures the beast with a sly smile on its face. The visual elements of some of its facial features have been enhanced to include more prominent eyebrows, teeth, and nostrils, with bulls horns added to the head. Inscriptions on this face of the medal include 2020 Fine Silver 999, Republic of Korea, 1 Clay, and KOMSCO.

Reverse

For the reverse face of the 1 oz Proof Silver 2020 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals a new image of Chiwoo is captured. The Hell Gate is the mythical connection between the immortal and mortal worlds and emerged from beneath Chiwoos Empire near the Salt Lake. Warned of its arrival by the guardian Rattus who resides in an underground cave, Chiwoo must now confront whatever evil bursts forth from the gate. With his full battle armor once again on, he is ready for the fight. The only inscription on this side is Chiwoo Cheonwang.
