Obverse

On the obverse side ofSilver 2022 Germania Valkyries Hildegard Rounds, you will find an image of Hildegard. Odins courageous daughter is shown with armor, a Germanic spear, and a decorative shield. By her side is a wolf, and in the distance, another is seen howling at the moon. The inclusion of the wolves here is purposeful, for, in the Nordic tradition, they would protect settlements in exchange for food. Behind Hildegard, you will see the palisade walls. Above this is the inscription HILDEGARD.

Reverse

The reverse of 1 oz Silver 2022 Germania Valkyries Hildegard Rounds contains the image of a wooden shield. Around the edges there is an exquisite pattern, and in the middle, there are inscriptions reading GERMANIA 2022 1 OZ AG 999.9 5 MARK. Also shown on the shield is another image of a howling wolf, as well as the two-headed eagle featured in the Germania Mint logo.
