The dove with an olive branch is a long-standing symbol of peace, deeply rooted in Israels cultural and spiritual identity. This image goes back to the biblical account of Noah, where a dove returned with an olive branch as a sign that the flood had ended and a new chapter was beginning. Provident Metals now offers the 1 oz Silver 2025 Dove of Peace Round.
Highlights:
This 1 oz Silver 2025 Dove of Peace Round is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and is packaged in a clear acrylic capsule. The Holy Land Mint launched this silver round series in 2014 and has released a new design each year since.
Obverse
The obverse of the Silver 2025 Dove of Peace Round shows a dove flying above the Old City walls of Jerusalem. The bird is captured mid-flight in left-profile, its wings raised and extended. In its beak, the dove carries an olive branch, echoing the peaceful message it represents. The inscriptions include DOVE OF PEACE.
Reverse
On the reverse 1 oz Silver Dove of Peace Round, the round features the official logo of The Holy Land Mint. This design includes inscriptions that identify the silver rounds weight, purity, metal type, and the year 2025. The inscriptions read JERUSALEM, THE HOLY LAND MINT, 2025, ONE TROY OUNCE, and 999 FINE SILVER.
History
In contemporary Israel, the dove is more than a scriptural reference. It has become a widely recognized peace symbol, often seen in social movements and diplomatic initiatives aimed at fostering mutual understanding and coexistence.
