Design
The design of the 1 oz Silver Gilded FIFA World Cup Replica Trophy captures the details of Gazzanigas 1970s creation. When FIFA needed a new design, experts from seven countries reviewed 53 models before selecting his entry. Since then, the trophys base has been updated, with winning teams names engraved in a spiral pattern beginning in 2014. Interestingly, the current design only has room for winners until 2038, meaning FIFA will eventually need to introduce a replacement.
History
The first FIFA World Cup trophy, called the Jules Rimet Trophy, was introduced for the 1930 tournament held in Uruguay. Named after FIFAs third president, who advocated for the creation of the event, it was designed by French sculptor Abel Lafleur. That trophy featured Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, lifting a cup overhead, and it measured roughly 14 inches tall with a marble base.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
