Laser engraving on the statue displays its silver content, purity, and a unique serial number. Due to the hand-poured process, each statue may display slight distinctions in its finish. This means no two are made exactly the same.
Design
This 1 oz Silver Antique Finish Britannia Statue captures the figure of Britannia in fine detail. She is shown in a dress that appears to flow in the wind, wearing a traditional Corinthian helmet. In one hand, she holds a trident high, and in the other, she grips an olive branch while resting her arm on a shield with the Union Jack symbol.
History
Through the 1600s and 1700s, Britannias image was adapted to fit new meanings. After 1660, when the monarchy returned, she appeared more frequently on coins and medals, especially on copper farthings and halfpennies issued by Charles II. Over time, artists added elements like Neptunes trident and often a lion to emphasize naval power and courage. During the Georgian era, Britannia came to represent a confident and commanding British Empire.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
