The 1 oz Silver Coast Guard Button Domed Round is limited to 1,000 rounds, but because of an error, the certificate will read 3,000. This round includes a convex surface, giving it a 3D appearance. Each round is shipped with a protective capsule to protect it during shipping and ensure it remains in new condition.

Obverse

On the obverse of the 1 oz Silver Coast Guard Button Domed Round is an image of the button found on the Coast Guard uniform. A large anchor intertwined with roped is featured in the center of the design field. The national bird sits on top of the anchor with its wings open. Completing the design are two leafy branches that meet at the bottom of the anchor in a bow.

Reverse

The Coast Guard Button Domed Silver Rounds reverse showcased the United States Great Seal. A bald eagle is shown with open wings behind a shield. An olive brand and war arrows are found in the eagles talons, symbolizing peace and war. United States Armed Forces is engraved along the upper half of the image. Other inscriptions include the rounds weight, purity, and metal content.

History

The Coast Guard was created by Congress in 1790 at the request of Alexander Hamilton. Originally referred to as the Revenue Marine, the Coast Guard is the oldest branch of nautical service in the United States that is still in operation. The Coast Guards initial duties including protecting the land from threatening pirates. In war, the Coast Guard serves the country alongside the U.S. Navy. However, during times of peace, the Coast Guard enforces maritime law and aids in search and rescue missions.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $7.99 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

When will my order ship?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
