Each 1 oz Silver Colorized The Wild Boar Round comes in individual packaging. The rounds are sealed in Certi-Lock cards, which provide secure storage and include an artistic card inside. Each round has a colorized obverse design.
Obverse
The obverse of the Silver Colorized The Wild Boar Round shows a strong boar in a woodland clearing. The animal is depicted with large tusks standing near a small body of water, with light filtering through the trees behind it. The inscriptions include WILD BOAR.
Reverse
On the reverse of 1 oz Silver Colorized The Wild Boar Rounds, the standard series design is displayed. This design shows the skull and antlers of a white-tailed deer in front-facing relief. This side also includes the mint and series name, along with the identifying hallmarks of the round. The inscriptions read SCOTTSDALE MINT, THE WILD, 1 TROY OUNCE, and 999 SILVER.
History
Wild boars were not originally native to North America but were brought over in multiple waves of importation. Spanish explorers introduced domesticated pigs in the 1500s, and many escaped, forming feral populations. In the early 1900s, Eurasian wild boars were brought in for hunting, and these animals interbred with feral domestic pigs, creating the hybrid populations present today.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
