This collection of rounds and bars highlights scenes from the Wild West and celebrates the regions rich history. Provident Metals now has 1 oz Silver Cowboy with Buffalo Privy Rounds from the Scottsdale Mint available for purchase online.
Highlights:
Each 1 oz Silver Cowboy with Buffalo Privy Round is crafted with proof-like quality, giving it frosted design elements and bright, reflective backgrounds. Singles come in CoinZip bags, while bulk orders of 20 are shipped in tubes.
Obverse
The obverse of these Silver Cowboy with Buffalo Privy Rounds presents a scene of a cowboy mid-ride on a bucking horse. The cowboy is shown clutching the reins tightly in one hand and raising his hat in the other as the horse kicks up into the air. Toward the bottom right of the design, youll notice a small buffalo privy mark showing a full buffalo in left-profile relief. The inscriptions read 1 TROY OZ and 9999 FINE SILVER.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1 oz Silver Cowboy with Buffalo Privy Round is the Scottsdale Lion design. This bold image features a crowned lions head, shown from the front with a detailed mane. Youll also find the phrase RIDE FOR THE BRAND on this side, as well as the inscriptions SCOTTSDALE MINT.
History
The story of the cowboy in American history began after the Civil War, when Texas ranchers needed to move large numbers of cattle to railroad centers in nearby states. These cattle drives, especially during the 1860s through 1880s, required expert riders who could guide herds across miles of open land and rough terrain.
