Obverse

The obverse field of the 1 oz Silver Happy Hanukkah Round comes with the primary design elements that capture the festive mood of the season. The field is dominated by the large Star of David. This hexagram shape has two equilateral triangles to form its shape. The two horizontal lines in the Star of David have the seasonal greeting HAPPY HANUKKAH inscribed on this field. At the very center of the design is a menorah with all nine candles lit, indicating the final day of the festival.

Reverse

On the reverse side of 1 oz Silver Happy Hanukkah Rounds there is a blank design field. SilverTowne leaves this side of seasonal rounds and bars blank on purpose. History

The development of this symbol was thousands of years in the making. In the Ancient World, the star was not actually associated with Judaism.
