After early relocationsfrom Tri-Cities to Milwaukee in 1951 and then to St. Louis in 1955the team settled in Atlanta in 1968. History
The Hawks most notable run came during the St. Louis era, capped by the 1958 NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics in six games. The franchise also secured four conference crowns (1957, 1958, 1960, 1961) and several division titles.
