The Denver Nuggets were founded in 1967 as the Denver Larks of the American Basketball Association (ABA), quickly changing their name to the Rockets and later to the Nuggets in 1974. When the ABA merged with the NBA in 1976, the Nuggets became one of four teams to join the league. Right now, 1 oz Silver NBA Denver Nuggets Rounds are available from Provident Metals.

Obverse
The obverse of the Silver NBA Denver Nuggets Round showcases the teams modern logo. The 2018 redesign features two crossed pickaxes over a mountain peak, symbolizing Denvers connection to Colorados mining past and the surrounding Rocky Mountains. The inscriptions here read DENVER NUGGETS and EST. 1974.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1 oz Silver Denver Nuggets Round features the NBA logo, showing a basketball player dribbling inside a vertical rectangular field. This timeless design has represented the league for more than five decades. Inscriptions here read OFFICIALLY LICENSED BY THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION, NBA, and ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER.
History
The Nuggets name connects back to Denvers basketball roots and the states gold rush history. The team has played at Ball Arena since 1999 and continues to be one of the NBAs most competitive franchises, highlighted by its first championship win in 2023.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
