The team name Magic was selected through a fan contest, a nod to Orlandos status as a tourism hub and home to Disney World. History
The franchise has called the Kia Center home since its early years (previously known as the Orlando Arena and Amway Center). The Magics biggest successes came during the Shaquille ONeal and Dwight Howard eras, each of which led to NBA Finals appearances.
