Obverse
The obverse of the Silver NFL Denver Broncos Round highlights the teams current logo. It features a sharp and modern illustration of a horses head, meant to symbolize power and determination. This design took the place of the older D logo, which is still familiar to fans, but the updated version reflects the teams strong presence in todays NFL. The inscriptions here include DENVER BRONCOS and EST. 1960.
Reverse
The reverse side of 1 oz Silver Denver Broncos Rounds carries the NFLs official league logo. Displayed as a shield, it includes the letters NFL in the middle, a football near the top, and eight stars split into two groups. These represent the separate divisions of the AFC and NFC. History
The Broncos began in 1960 as part of the original American Football League. The team had a rough start, but gradually earned respect in the 1970s under coach Red Miller.
