History
The Rams story began in Cleveland in 1936 before they relocated to Los Angeles in 1946, becoming the first professional football team to be based on the West Coast. Their time in Los Angeles was marked with many highlights, including the 1951 NFL Championship and consistent appearances in the playoffs during the 1970s and early 1980s. They also reached the Super Bowl in 1979.
