History

Minted ingots such as these are produced with the assistance of machine presses and computer-controlled engraving. Minted ingots all start as cast bars, but the long cast bar is fed into a stamping press that precisely cuts out bars to certain specifications. The bars then pass through a computer-controlled engraving system that stamps or laser-etches design elements into the bars.
