PAMP Suisses Lunar Calendar Series have similar designs each year in the sense that the mint offers a design on both sides of the bars that feature the same design elements. With these designs, you can see two different viewpoints of the same scene.

The coins in this listing ship in an assay card that contains information for the purchaser, including the weight, metal content, purity, and serial number for the bar.

Obverse

On the obverse of each Year of the Rat bar, you will see a rat standing on the edge of a stone wall. The rat is shown standing on its hind legs with a small ancient coin in its front paws. The coin the rat is holding has four Chinese symbols on it with a square hole in the center.

Reverse

The reverse image of the bar shows the same rat from behind. Seeing the rat from this angle allows you to see the rats long tail and the other side of the coin that the rat holds.

Founded in 1977, PAMP Suisse operates out of Ticino, Switzerland. The mint operates a state-of-the-art refinery and fabrication facility that is known for creating metal bars and blanks for other mints around the world.
