Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Very well done bar at a reasonable premium, considering the quality, wrapping and security features. Feels solid in the hand. Tough shrink wrapping that still allows you to feel the bar’s engraving and contours, and contains its serial number. Very nice finish and ribbed sides (I did also notice that the leading edges were very slightly dinged, but unalloyed silver is a fairly soft metal and dings easily). I have bought “value” bars recently and believe me, you get what you pay for with those. This bar is a good balance of value and quality finish.

This Bar has a higher Premium than some other bars you could buy, but for a few bucks more, you get a work of art. A thick, chunky, well designed silver bar you will be proud to have as part of your silver collection. The Box is also very nice (not upper sturdy), but it does the job and you can buy one separately. Then you can work toward filling it up, which takes 45 bars. I just placed my last order which will finally reach my Goal of getting 45 of these Gorgeous TOUGH Looking Bars! Get One, you’ll be Happy you did!

One would think a quality silver bar from Geiger would have that German engineering, but it is instead shoddy. I opened the factory plastic shrink wrap and found ragged edges, sharp corners and scratches on the face. I bought it to give to a friend of mine, but it looked used and abused. I think the condition is a combination of careless stamping, not finishing the edges with a file and then tossing the bar into a pile before it is shrink wrapped. This is in no ways Provident’s fault but something that happened in Germany.

Had to have this for my collection although I don’t try to buy bars at this premium over spot unless it’s an old school Englehard. This bar is short and fat. It has a nice chunky feel to it unlike most bars. The security feature is nice as well. Doubt I will start stacking them but if you are on the fence to add one to your collection, pull the trigger. You won’t regret it.
