Each 10 oz Gold Cast Bar is packaged in protective plastic. Cast gold bars are an affordable way to own physical gold. Theyre created by melting precise amounts of gold and pouring the molten metal into moulds. After cooling, each bar is stamped with incuse hallmarks and left with a blank reverse.
Design
The obverse of each 10 oz Gold Cast Bar includes the Perth Mints markings. The circular logo with its graceful swan appears at the top, followed by the bars serial number, weight, and purity. The reverse side of the 10 oz Gold Bar is blank, displaying the natural surface patterns left from the casting process. The inscriptions on the obverse read THE PERTH MINT, AUSTRALIA, 10 OZS, and 9999.
History
Western Australias gold mining industry started small in the late 1880s but grew rapidly after major discoveries at Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie in the 1890s. During the height of the gold rush, from the mid-1890s into the early 1900s, the region produced hundreds of thousands of ounces of gold each year. The Golden Mile at Kalgoorlie became one of the richest gold-bearing areas in the world, moving from simple surface mining to more advanced deep-shaft operations as easy-to-reach deposits were mined out.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
