Obverse
The obverse of 2022 South Korean 10 oz Silver Medals depicts a youthful tiger climbing Seoraksan mountain. The tiger is shown in a medium closeup with its head tilted to the left. Youll find inscriptions on the obverse as well that read KOREAN TIGER, 2022, 10 OZ SEORAKSAN.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2022 South Korean Tiger 10 oz Silver Medals, a stylized rendition of the Korean peninsula is featured. This design is especially eye-catching given that it was crafted through letters of the Hangul alphabet. The reverse features inscriptions also reading REPUBLIC OF KOREA, FINE SILVER .999.
History
In 2016, KOMSCO released its very first South Korean tiger medal. Initially, the series was only produced in gold, but in 2018 the mint began offering a silver edition as well. Within the silver category, KOMSCO produces a standard and antique version of the 10 oz size. For the 1 oz option, collectors can purchase a standard or proof edition. The Medal is also produced in gold in weights of 1 oz and 1/10 oz.

"
Absolutely worth every cent I paid for it. Would buy all 300 if I could. Yes, it's more expensive than other 10 oz medals but the artwork is impeccable."
